Cebu Pacific cancels 72 flights at NAIA for arrival of Japan's imperial couple

MANILA "” Cebu Pacific (CEB) and Tiger Airways Philippines (now CEBGO) announced on Monday, the cancellation of 72 flights in anticipation of the closure of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) runway for the arrival and the departure of Japan's imperial couple.

In an advisory, Cebu Pacific has announced that 28 of its flights, all domestic except for two international flights to and from Singapore, will be grounded on Tuesday for the arrival of Their Majesties Emperor Akihito and Empress Michiko.

CEBGO cancelled on Tuesday eight domestic flights.
